The table below shows various traits that make up a human being. They are the traits of human consciousness; or perhaps we can call them the endowments of human character, or simply character or personality traits. They are grouped within the categories of an individual's (1) attitudes, (2) miscellaneous attributes, (3) social endowments, and (4) skills. Each trait is shown in two ways; how it manifests in a positive way in a person, and how it manifests negatively in a person.

If, for example, you decide you want to improve your attitudes or other aspects of your being, you can reference this table to discover which items you might want to improve on. Also note that at the end of the table are other ways of looking at the traits of human consciousness, including subdividing them at three planes  -- physical, vital, and mental; divided in ways that relate to one's success and accomplishment in life, breakdown of traits amongst human values, and so forth. This is an even more advanced knowledge.

Several Steps Further:

TRAITS ORGANIZED BY OUR HUMAN MAKEUP

Aside from the listing on this page, traits of human consciousness can be viewed from a number of other perspectives. Here are several:

Traits Organized from Psychological (Inner-oriented) to Social (Outer-oriented)

Human personality/character traits can be divided by those that are inner, psychological; and those that are outer-oriented, i.e. social. (They can then be further divided positively and negatively.) To see this list of character and social traits, click here

Traits Expressing in the Vertical Scale of Human Consciousness
(Physical, Vital, Mental, Spiritual)

The individual human expresses the above traits across three fundamental planes or levels of our being -- mental, vital, and physical. E.g. the traits of awareness and insightfulness appears at the mental level; our various attitudes at the vital level; and our physical well being and strength at the physical level. For a detailed chart of these three levels/planes (plus sublevels), including the individual human traits that express at each, click here.  There are also physical, vital, and mental type individuals, which you can learn about here.

(This leads us to a much bigger picture. We can actually see an overview of our entire human makeup, which gives the broadest perspective of what we are made up of. This includes our physical to vital to mental to spiritual makeup, as well as orientation from outer to inner; i.e. surface to depths. To see that, click here. Also, we can understand how we have arrived at our current human makeup by understanding the course of human evolution, which is explained here.)
